An electric mutant vehicle · Black Rock City
A labor of love by a group of Burners, sharing tacos, furry critters, and tasteful word play with the playa.
Tacocat is a labor of love by a group of Burners who are grateful to the Burning Man community for the shared experiences that brought us closer together, and who want to help others have those same experiences. While we built this mutant vehicle to share our love of tacos, furry critters, and tasteful word play with the Playa, we want to do that in a sustainable and moopless way while providing lasting positive experiences for fellow burners.

Built with deliberate material choices and tight construction so that nothing flakes off, blows off, or sheds onto the playa. Leave-no-trace, by design — from the first bolt to the last sequin.
We host regular “Do You Want to Tacobout It?” sessions at Tacocat, during which we invite travelers to join us, share what’s on their mind, and engage in meditation and thoughtfulness exercises. Our group includes members with psychology, mentoring/advising, and Zendo backgrounds, and we look forward to offering those skills to anyone who needs someone to talk to.
